LuvAI
An independent studio building tools for people who want to actually do something with AI — not just read about it.
The interesting problem in AI is no longer the model. It's the gap between an AI tool existing somewhere and a person actually getting useful work out of it.
In the workshop
The studio currently ships two products. The first is PromptCraft, a working library and generator suite for people who use AI to make things — images, video, music, text. The second is LUVAI Stock, a terminal-style Taiwan equity research site that puts indicators, institutional flows, news and AI commentary in one place.
The thing I actually wanted — a working library where every entry had been run through the model it claimed to support — wasn't there. So I built it. Same story for stock research: I wanted one screen that didn't make me click through fifteen tabs.
Other tools are at varying stages of “built it for myself, deciding whether to ship.” They surface here when they're ready, not before. The studio runs on shipping things that are actually done, not pre-announcing things that aren't. See the full roster →

On encoding a point of view
Software is a set of opinions frozen into a usable form. The strength of the opinion is the best predictor I know of whether a tool survives.

A tiny tool for an annoying chore
On shipping a free LRC subtitle generator because the API got cheap enough that the problem became embarrassing to leave unsolved. Plus a Chinese-language version below.

Notes on data you don't own
The stock tool runs entirely on data I don't control. Notes on the quiet, defensive craft of building on borrowed facts.
